20.05.2013 - Accommodation, vacant places

Accommodation:
There is a new article on our website describing options for teams' accommodation. We now have a pair of local volunteers dedicated to coordinate any local accommodation enquiries, so if you need any assistance on this matter they will be happy to help you. Just e-mail us to contact them.

Camping site:
I'd like to thank those of you who responded to my camping site estimation request. We now expect about 100 "camping objects" to be placed. It means average of 90 square meters per "object". This will be dense setting, however with smart placing of tents there will be still decent breathing and walking space available. Parking of cars will be forbidden to save space.
Important: we will use your previous estimations to divide camping site into sections for each country. So if your estimation was not very precise, please update it. The deadline is 10 July 2013.

Vacant places:
We still have 1 vacant place in Club class and 12 places in Standard class. Please consider if your country would like to enter another pilot. It is possible till 27.06. The limit is 3 pilots per class per country.

11.04.2013 - Local Procedures, camping area

First of all, we're happy to announce that Local Procedures for JWGC have just been published on our website.

Secondly, we need to estimate the demand for camping site. Thus we'd like to ask you to specify how many "camping objects" do plan to use - tents, caravans, pools etc. Please note that these are not formal declaration nor reservations. This is just to let us estimate if current camping area is big enough and how strict should we be while dividing it.

4.04.2013 - Bulletin no. 2 published, licence validation

We have just published Bulletin no. 2. It contains official entry list, procedures for new and changed entries as well as "Team Captain's checklist", which we hope you'll find useful.

Due to ongoing change of rules and procedures for foreign licences validation, we'd like to ask all pilots from outside European Union going to fly Polish-registered gliders to contact us as soon as possible, so we can help them through this process.

1.03.2013 - simplified licence validation

We have received information that Polish Aviation Authorities will soon issue a simplified rules of licence validation for glider competitions. We will provide you with more information as soon as it goes official. Please note, this only applies to pilots going to fly Polish-registered gliders (SP-xxxx registration).

7.02.2013 - new camping fees

The Bulletin no. 1 has just been updated. It contains new (lower) camping fees.

We have recently received some new offers of gliders available to rent for JWGC. Those of you still looking for a glider please check the Glider Rental page.

2.01.2013 - official entry form

The Official Entry Form (pdf) has just been published. Please follow notes at the second page of the form.

16.11.2012 - getting ready for JWGC 2013

Junior pre-Worlds 2012 are over and the website is now slowly changing to cover the "proper" Worlds. The first bulletin has just been published, please check it.
